BOISE, Idaho – For the second time in three days Idaho has recorded a million dollar winning ticket, this time on Mega Millions. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that one winning ticket matched all five of the first numbers from last night’s $15 million Mega Millions draw and is worth $1 million. That winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Franklin County along the Idaho-Utah border in southeastern Idaho. The winning numbers were 07, 22, 27, 41, 49 and the Megaball was 10.
“This is an exciting week for our players. We had a million dollar winner on Powerball Wednesday night and now a million dollar winner on Mega Millions last night,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Everyone who played Mega Millions for last night’s draw should check their tickets carefully for winners. This ticket, the only one of its kind in the country from last night’s draw, matched only the first five numbers and is worth $1 million.”
Including the million dollar winning ticket, there were over 4,800 winning Mega Millions tickets in Idaho from last night’s draw. With no jackpot winner, the estimated jackpot for Tuesday night is now $20 million.
The Idaho Lottery encourages everyone to sign the back of their tickets prior to presenting them for payment.
Last night’s million dollar winner has 180 days to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.
